The horizon is an interesting thing because it encompasses everything in front of and behind us. If you were to sit in a boat in the middle of the ocean you would find the horizon perfectly balances everything in front of and behind you. This is the foundation of the 21st Century Gentlemen. A 21st Century Gentlemen balances the past, present, and future. They can hold on to old idea's and values while incorporating new ones of the future. The challenge is the horizon can't be touched. But in a way neither can complete gentlemen-hood. It's something always moved towards. So if you want to be a 21st Century Gentlemen, look to the horizon. With the horizon, a balance of the past, present, and future, established as the foundation of a 21st Century Gentlemen the obvious next question is what separates a man with a balanced life from a gentlemen. The answer, five characteristics; Creativity, Affability, Responsibility, Competence, and Sophistication. While the mere presence of one or two of these traits is not revolutionary, a dedication and zeal to even a single one of these traits can take any man and turn him into a gentlemen. Our logo is a mixture of three symbols. First we can see a shepherd's crook. A simple tool used to guide. Next we can see the Egyptian Key of Life. Often depicted in the hands of pharos or specific Egyptian gods, the key is a symbol of giving life. Lastly we can see an old fashion style Key. Combining the three a person can understand exactly what Gentkey does. GentKey guides Gentleman, helping them create a new life. This is done by opening ‘locked doors’ and redefining what a gentleman is in the 21st Century.
